Bobby Gunner is an arcade game playable on mobile. The player has to tap on the screen to shoot with the shotgun, which makes Bobby move up thanks to the recoil and kills the monsters. He can hold to go into slow-motion and do a super shoot, that makes Bobby go higher and allows to break through some blocks. The player has to go as high as possible in an endless level, and must go faster and faster as a big monster is chasing him from the bottom of the screen.
The game was published by IronEqual, that took care of the monetization side, that is, the ads and the premium purchase.
Working on this project was very rewarding, because I had to do (almost) everything all by myself. Some game elements weren't a big deal to develop, such has gameplay and sounds, because these are elements I'm used to work on, especially with Unity.
But some other elements were quit tough to tackle, such as the UI and the UX, which must meet current standards. And developing the whole "play flow", meaning the experience from the launch to the exit of the game, was a difficult task for me as I had to think of all the project's architecture. And this is something I am not used to, that requires more skills than basic prototyping.
