ABOUT


I AM A GAME AND LEVEL DESIGNER, IN 5TH YEAR AT SUPINFOGAME RUBIKA SCHOOL.


I am mostly interested in user experience and players psychology, and willing to create the best experience for the players. I am very sensitive to flow, pacing and staging, which is why I specialize in Level design.

As I am a long time musician, I am also very interested in the relationship between game and sound, how they can interact with each other.

MAIN SKILLS



LEVEL DESIGN

Flow, pacing and staging are my main focuses. I really consider Level design and Game design to be two sides of the same coin, and I think the Level designer is the one that, in the end, shapes the player's experience. That is why I decided to focus on Level design. My goloden rule is: "Contrast is key".


GAME DESIGN

Game design was at the heart of my school curriculum for 5 years at Supinfogame. I was Game designer on many projects, and often as a Lead. I am able to make game concepts, to design 3Cs and prototype them, and I have a special affinity with the design of systems and rational design.


MANAGEMENT

Management was also part of my school curriculum. I had the occasion to be manager on many projects, and even though the producing aspect is not what I prefer, being a lead and helping the team to achieve a common goal is really something I like to do.

SECONDARY SKILLS



3D MODELING

As I am focusing on Level design, 3D modeling is also something I am practicing. It allows me to create complex meshes I can use in my levels, and as Level designers work closely with Level artists, it helps me to understand better all the aspects of level building.


PROGRAMMING & SCRIPTING

I acquired skills in programming in C# while working with Unity, which allows me to prototype mechanics and systems. My experience with Unreal Engine 4 also allowed me to learn visual scripting.


MUSIC & SOUND DESIGN

I am a long time musician, and have always been interested in sound in general. I worked as a composer and sound designer on various projects, for school projects and for professional games.
